Appears rather prodigious in manhandling. Methinks she has a backstory of some note.

Seriously! From the first sentence in that paragraph, "A meaty hand descended on the German from behind, grabbed his collar, and shook him until the pistol fell from his grasp.", I thought it was going to be the Warfields' muscle, Bludge. Emily and Clarice's aunts' names are just a few of Paul's delightful details.

The mind boggled.
Bludge and Prodigia, sitting in a (Banyan? Giant Sequoia? Strangler Fig?) tree...
Mind refused to proceed.
I think i need to process a few... hundred... rosaries

Freed from the restraints of patriarchal European Society, the South Pacific woud have made a Promised Land for strong women to come into their own. Sarah, Helga, Mme Warfield, Emily and Clarice's aunts and many others are inspired characters in the R-505 universe. Although I have to admit some romantic pairings would be counterintuitive, to say the least. :o
