By this point, however, it is no longer evident.

OK, OK...

I voted for Helga.

Oh, wait, waitwaitwait.
I want in too!

Um, hang on... before I jump upon this opportunity like a starved chihuahua would throw itself at a fine lamb stew, lemme see whom I would turn out to be.

... oh.

Oh bother....

My age and primary language would make me most suitable for the part of... uh, Wasserman.
I'm 52, and while I've been told that I don't look 52, I can't play the parts of Fleming or Iverson.
I have way too much scalp hair, and not enough body mass, to play the role of Channel.
And while my (British) English is regularly said to be excellent (by subjects of the Queen, mind you - one of them once said "fornicate" (or rather a derivative thereof), "your English is better than mine will ever be"), the fact that my primary language is Dutch fills a niche that would be hard to fill otherwise.

Crud.

Ah, well if you put it that way… Actually, I think this might be another whole topic; “Which FC Character Would You Play In the Stage Production?” or the like.

Hmm… My true age and demeanor would make me most suitable to play Captain Everett. However, if the question is, “Which FC character would you LIKE to play…”, I’d go with Lieutenant Iverson, so I could woo the exotic Miss Sarah.

Not that I wouldn’t like to ride the lightning with Helga just once, just to be able to say I did it and survived… 8-)

Hey, there.

Be careful, sweetums, said Grandad.

This *is* Helga we are talking about. Helga may be statuesque and all, and she would devour folks like Wasserman alive, but she isn't some sort of female Praying Mantis or anything to those she fancies.
Those who tried (or were tried) to ride the lightning with Helga only ended up severely bruised; all of them lived to tell the tale (although they may not have wanted to tell it).

You may be all 6.3' an' ferocious an' wieldin' an axe an' stuff, but trust me: Nobody is going to defame my favourite FC character and live, as long as this old man can find the white of their eyes in his rifle's 'scope*.

Rowr.

(Plus, bruise him severely during fornication you may, but nobody is going to kill Kona either as long as I can help it.)

No more questions, your honour.

*) ... and I can. I may have to go and amend my introduction to reflect that I *was* a national champion in Field Target, a sniper-type discipline, in 2001. And while no longer active, I am still practicing, and in shape. Ha.
;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

I might not, but I'll bet it would take the undertaker many hours to get the SMILE off my face! :D

Just my luck that the Field Target rifle is more accurate as well as less conspicuous. ;)
