About The Eight Worlds

The Eight Worlds (no relation to the stories by John Varley) was a Traveller varient that began at the MIT Strategic Games Society between 1980 and 1981 and has run continuously, with uncountable players, for more than a quarter of a century. Over the years, it has spawned an immense body of art, stories, and legend, and at least one novel. Recently, I came across a trove of records from the early days of the game, which I've begun to scan and restore for the entertainment of future generations. I may be able to reconstruct a color version of this one, so check back soon....
